Recognising Pain & Pregnancy Discomforts
recognising pain & discomfort during pregnancy
When women are pregnant, they are often told that it is normal to experience some form of pain and/or discomfort simply because they are carrying another child or more so the extra weight is expected to take a toll.
Pain is the body’s natural alarm bell to indicate to us if something needs taking care of and our body’s way of communicating with us. One of the common symptoms that women in their third trimester experience is lower back pain which is matched by their baby turning posterior.
A misalignment in the mother’s structure may tip the uterus resulting in misalignments within the pelvis, making it more difficult for the baby to complete its cardinal movements through the birth canal easily and safely.
Towards the end of the third trimester, if not at the beginning as the baby grows, the misalignment can sometimes be visually seen from the shape of the mother’s growing pregnant belly.
So learn to recognise some common pain and discomforts experienced during pregnancy in the following articles and what the pregnant mother can do about it.
